FFLC Attorneys Gain Admission to SCOTUS
On Monday, Founding Freedoms Law Center (FFLC) attorneys Josh Hetzler and Michael Sylvester were sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts to the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. With admission to the U.S. Supreme Court, our attorneys can now appear before the high Court for oral arguments, submit motions, and file case documents and briefs directly with the court. This includes the submission of amicus briefs, or “friend of the court” briefs in support of parties before the Court.
While in the courtroom, the FFLC attorneys also had a front row seat (literally) to the oral argument happening that day, Trump v. Slaughter, a landmark case that will test the legitimacy and limits of independent federal agencies, which Justice Gorsuch referred to from the bench as “the fourth branch of government.”
