Loudoun Schools SUSPENDS Boys Who Questioned a Girl Being In the Locker Room
The Founding Freedoms Law Center (FFLC) has been representing three Loudoun County (LCPS) high school boys being investigated for Title IX “sexual harassment” violations for simply expressing confusion and discomfort with a girl being in their locker room for P.E. class. Despite the girl secretly filming the boys in the locker room against school policy, they are the ones that were investigated, not her. Then, along the way, LCPS dropped the charge against the Muslim student, but doubled down with even more charges for the two Christian boys – showing blatant religious discrimination.
Now LCPS has decided to SUSPEND both boys from the first two weeks of school for “sexual harassment” and “sex based discrimination” because they complained about a girl being in their locker room!
This action comes directly on the heels of LCPS and four other Northern Virginia school districts declaring that they would defy the federal Department of Education’s directive to comply with Title IX by preventing students from using opposite-sex facilities.
Our legal team is getting justice for our clients. We have formally appealed LCPS’s title IX determination, but we fully expect a lawsuit in the coming days to stop this suspension and to clear their records. We also understand that this fight is much bigger than just our two clients. This is yet another example of the relentless, cultural assault the Left is waging on decency and common sense.
Yesterday, we held a press conference right outside of Stone Bridge High School in Loudoun, to call out the injustice of this case and what it means for every Virginia student.
Since the news of the boys’ guilty finding broke on Monday, we’ve also been on major national news outlets talking about this case.
This situation is far from over as we seek to get justice for our clients. We look forward to updating you in the days to come about next steps.
