Fired for their Faith, Three Women represented by FFLC Sue Kaiser Permanente in Federal Court

Last week, the Founding Freedoms Law Center (FFLC) served Kaiser Permanente with a lawsuit brought on behalf of three devout women of faith—Marisol Gates, Moira David, and Zena Reeves.  Each is a faithful adherent to Protestant or Catholic religious beliefs which prevented them from taking the COVID shot that was mandated by their former employer, Kaiser Permanente.  It should have been easy for Kaiser Permanente to accommodate their faith as required by state and federal law:  They each worked from home and posed no risk to their employer.  Yet, Kaiser Permanente instead denied their requests for a religious accommodation and fired them instead.

FFLC is committed to supporting bedrock American principles such as religious liberty, and it is honored to represent these three women as they seek to vindicate their rights.  The lawsuit FFLC filed on their behalf can be found here.
